For Children
As a student, Portal+ provides a variety of tools and resources to help you with your learning, whenever and wherever you need it.
This Quick Start tells you how to log on and get to your work. Before you can start, school must give you a Username and Password. Please remember that usernames and passwords are case sensitive.
Logging on
Go to www.klp.rm.com and enter your username and password.
Logging off
After you have finished your work, either click Log Off or close your browser. This is very important, particularly if you are using a computer that is in a public place or that someone else has access to. If you don’t log off properly, someone else might
see your information.
Changing your password
To change your password after logging on:
1. Click My Profile in the navigation bar, then click the Change Password tab.
2. Type your old password and your new password twice for confirmation, then click Change Password.
Finding your work
Make sure that the Work Due widget is on your desktop. Click "show all". On the new screen click courses. Then click on the work that you wish to complete.
For Parents
Our school's portal (VLN) will give you a personalised view of information and resources relevant to you and your child/ children, therefore helping to improve communication to and from the school. This portal will also help people to collaborate more effectively using 'Interest Spaces' to share information, ideas and documents within a group.
When the system is fully up and running you will have access to homework and assignments that have been set by teachers through the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
We anticipate that it will be another two and a half years before it is fully functional. At the moment it is being trialed by our two Year Five classes so that we can iron out any issues or problems.
