Earrings Can you please ensure that if your child has pierced ears, they wear studs for school, not fashion earrings. Your child must also be able to take them out by themselves when they have P.E. as no earrings at all are allowed during this lesson, for health and safety reasons. When children go to High School, they are not allowed earrings at school at any time, or under any circumstance. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
Hair accessories: Following some debate and confusion, we can now confirm the school policy on hair accessories starting from Monday 5th June 2017. We realise the opinions around hair accessories are very polarised. We have spoken to staff, pupils, parents and governors and the views are all very different, and we know we are never going to please everybody all the time. Ultimately, as a school, we need to make the final decision. Many people wanted to ban all hair accessories, especially giant "jojo bows", but others couldn't see the problem with them. We think we have reached a fair compromise and the rules are as follows:
