| Nicol Mere Newsletters Download May 28th 2010 Newsletter Download May 14th 2010 Newsletter Download May 8th 2009 Flyer Download May 1st 2009 Flyer Newsletter 20th May 2008 Rugby Team – Well done Last Saturday the school rugby team took part in a Lancashire tournament where they played in two competitions. They did fantastically. Primarily they won the league competition (winning every game and accumulating the most tries) and the highlight being the 4:3 win against the county champions and cup winning team. They also entered a bowl competition where they reached the final which ended 4:4. However with the squad already depleted through absences and injuries on the day the team lost to a golden try rule. Despite some dodgy refereeing and rule bending by the opposition all the pupils played their hearts out and acted with great sportsmanship. A big thanks to all the parent supporters and “WELL DONE” to all the players. A new cup for the league will be presented in school this week.
