Dinner MoneyIf you owe the kitchen any dinner money, can you please ensure you send it into school before the end of term. Thank you. Earrings/HairIf you are intending to let your child have their ears pierced or their hair cut/shaved, please do so at the start of the summer break in order for them to have healed/grown back in time for the new term. Goodbye!We would like to wish Mrs Johnston and Mr Hunt from the Teaching Section and Mrs Smalley and Mr Deluce from the Welfare Section “Goodbye” and “Good Luck” from all the children and staff when they leave us at the end of term. Police SurgeriesOur final Police surgery, for this term will be on Wednesday 14th July in our Community Room at 3pm. Breast Cancer/Strawberry TeasOnce again, during our annual Sports Days, we sold Strawberry Teas to raise money for Breast Cancer awareness. This was a huge success and a total of £248.06 was raised. Thank you for your support. A big “Thank You” from School Council to Mrs Magee for making the refreshments and to everyone who helped on both days. Lost PropertyA watch has been found outside school. Please ask at the school office if you have recently lost one. PTSFAThank you to all PTSFA members for organising another very successful Summer Fair. The amount raised at the fayre by the PTSFA was £800. Also a very huge thank you to all PTSFA, volunteers and staff for setting up and running stalls, without their help this event could not have gone ahead. School Classroom ProjectsThe total amount of monies raised on the summer fayre day, by the children, was £347.63. Thank you to everyone and well done! Jabula Project South African ChildrenA big “Thank you” to everyone who contributed to the Jabula Project through “birthday money”. A cheque for £162.81 will be forwarded to the Creche. Thank you also for your continued support towards Action Aid. We have raised £240.75 which will cover the two children we sponsor in India. Thank you to everyone for your continuing support. Used UniformIf anyone has any spare used uniform, especially older children’s sizes, it would be appreciated if you could send it into school. MuftiWe will be having the usual MUFTI to celebrate the end of term on Friday, 16th July for a contribution of £1.00 per family. Please note the school will be closing at 2pm on this day. Please make arrangements for your child’s safe return home at the earlier time. Contributions/SupportAs we end another year, I would like to thank all of you for your support, help and contributions in all kinds of ways from which the school and the children have no doubt benefited. Please see reverse of this letter also. Y6 ChildrenMay we say a huge thank you to our Y6 children for their performance “Back to the Blitz”. This was an excellent display of their talents which was enjoyed by all. We would like to wish them all the best and every success for the future as they leave for High School.
